Phyllis' Story
Dear Paul,
Thank you so much for your help and for my listening training.
I am 70 years old, a native English speaker and have been studying Italian for 8 years. It is the first language I have attempted to learn since English. After 8 years of study with several teachers, I was able to read and write Italian fairly well but hearing accurately and responding verbally to others speaking to me seemed an impossible task for me.
After I completed my listening training, I went to Italy for 6 weeks and for the first time I could hear and understand much more of what the Italians were saying to me. I was surprised as well to find I could reply and they understood me too! I am so happy that Paul Madaule recommended I utilize his program because I know without it, I would never have been able to progress in my verbal/listening skills in Italian.
