John's Story

Written by Joan V. - John's mother

An excerpt from John's mother's correspondence with us sharing his accomplishments as an adult:

John ..., who went to the Centre 22 years ago is doing great. After graduating Suma Cum Laude from Marietta College and getting his Masters Degree in Accounting from BGSU, he has now passed the exam and will get his CPA. He is working as an Auditor and loves it. He has a nice apartment and even goes to Happy hour on Fridays once in awhile. A big change for a Hyperlexic, once slightly autistic boy.

Because of the Listening Training program he has a full and good life. I am so glad the Centre is still open giving hope and help to those in need. Congratulations on your 25 year anniversary!
