Getting Started: Complete the Listening Checklist
PLEASE NOTE:
The Listening Centre is currently on a sabbatical. Rosalinde Tamburro who has been working for years with Paul Madaule, the founder of the Centre, will continue to provide Listening Training services under her company Connect Listening in close collaboration with Paul.
A Listening Training program starts with an Initial Assessment to determine a client’s suitability. Please complete & submit the Listening Checklist checking off the boxes that apply along with your contact information and a brief description of your or your child's concerns and issues.
Once Rosalinde receives your completed checklist, she will review the information provided and contact you for the next step.
What happens next?
Making an Appointment
Once determined that you or your child is a possible candidate an Initial Assessment appointment is made. Prior to the appointment we will send you a questionnaire to be completed and returned together with prior reports which may be relevant.
Initial Assessment
The Initial Assessment takes about 2 hours, it usually includes a Listening Test and clinical observations to assess your or your child's listening skills. After a review of all the information submitted you will meet the Consultant who will determine the suitability of the program and make a verbal recommendation. The Consultant also discusses what kind of changes and improvements to be expected and the length of the program.
